Jackson County Historical Society presents Undertaking the Wisconsin Death Trip - A Halloween Wake in Black River Falls.
Join Us to Celebrate the Life of Our Beloved History - a turn of the century funeral parlor setting with old time funeral theme. On display will be a complete early 1900's funeral parlor set up. A short talk on history facts of Undertaking, early funeral parlors and on the Wisconsin Death Trip. Then there will be a showing of the Wisconsin Death Trip documentary movie. This will be at the Jackson County Historical Society's History & Research Center at 34 S. 1st Street in Black River Falls. With 2 dates on October 25th 2:30pm to 4:30pm & October 30th 6:00pm to 8:00pm. All are welcome! Seating maybe limited. Refreshments will be served. Freewill donations are appreciated.
