Understanding your business to define a sales and marketing strategy
WORKSHOP CONTENT:
All business owners are marketing and generating sales in their business daily. For some business marketing is their location and signage. For others it’s a web site, word of mouth or an aggregator site. Everything we do is to sell a product or service and we ‘market’ in a lot of ways.But why do we do it? In this short workshop understand the 4Ps of marketing – Product, Place, Price and Promotion with a deep dive into what is your brand and what do you represent to your current and future clientele. We will then unpack the relationship marketing approach that helps you understand the type of promotion that will work best for your brand aligned to where your customer is on their buying journey. All to help drive sales outcomes. The workshop will conclude with strategies to retain customers and the questions you must ask yourself and your advertising company to ensure that you get the right result from your marketing investments. Come along to learn new ideas, understand the why behind marketing and most importantly learn from each other’s experience.

ABOUT THE PRESENTER:
Michael is an experienced senior leader with a range of commercial, not-for-profit and Directorship experience in SA over the past 30 years. In addition to providing marketing consulting services to SMEs across Adelaide, Michael is the CEO of Lutheran Disability Services and has held senior Executive Sales & Marketing positions at RAA, RAA Insurance and Bedford. Michael’s undergraduate degree is in Theology, Masters of Business Administration at UniSA and the Emerging Leaders course at ESADE University in Barcelona.
