"When we have a child, we have a choice to repeat the childhood we had, or you have the opportunity to make a conscious change.” -- Karen Apana , PhD
Biography Workshop
Understanding Your Child’s Seven-Year Cycles in Relation to Your Seven-Year Cycles
In this Biography workshop we learn that there are archetypal patterns to our human development. We discover that each seven-year cycle gives birth to spiritual gifts and resources, often proceeded by a crisis. We will do exercises to explore our childhood and adult experiences, remembering significant events of our lives such as births, deaths, divorces, accidents, illnesses, geographical shifts, career changes and more. Through this transformative life review, we can unearth emerging life themes that can illuminate our life’s purpose and future direction. We will come to understand our current seven-year cycle and reflect on our children’s seven-year cycle to see how they are interacting or conflicting. You will learn about the temperaments of your child and yourself, as well as an intuitive art process that can help in making decisions and clarifying your questions.
This Biography workshop will have new material, so it can be taken by those who have already experienced a Biography workshop before.
Please bring a notebook for journal writing and your lunch.
Tea and snacks will be provided.
