An hour long talk and Q&A about medical research on the adolescent mind.
About this Event

Dr. Stoddard leads the Emotion and Development Lab (emodev.org) at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus which studies the neurocognitive basis of emotional disorders. Many of us remember how hard it was to be a teenager, in this talk Dr. Stoddard will explain how the adolescent brain impacts a teen's mood.

The Aurora History Museum's Summer 2024 Speaker Series aims to share some of the research happening in our backyard with the community. CU Anschutz is a leading center for medical research, and is in Aurora! Come to these free talks to learn about relevant medical advances. These presentations are made for the general public; you don't need to know anything about science or medicine to learn something new here.
