About this Event
Receiving a diagnosis of any form of dementia can be distressing for both the individual diagnosed and their caregiver(s). The Alzheimer Society of Ontario is returning to OCO to discuss the progression and stages of the disease. Join us to gain insights into:
· The meaning of "progression"
· The effects of these changes on both the diagnosed individual and their caregiver(s)
· Tips for managing the evolving dynamics of the relationship between the caregiver(s) and the person living with the diagnosis.
Who should attend? Anyone who would like to learn more about the progression of dementia and strategies for those living with dementia.
