The “Understanding Lead Workshop” will cover lead-based paint hazards, the health effects of lead poisoning, and practical prevention strategies. Residents will also have the opportunity to ask questions and gather resources.

Thanks to funding from HUD’s Office of Lead Hazard Control and Healthy Homes, these resources are being brought directly to Lafayette families to help build safer, healthier homes.
