Informational presentation to encourage community between Muslim and non-Muslim neighbors
Dr. Hamed Alalamat, a professor at NWACC and an Imam at the Bentonville Islamic Center, will share a presentation on Islam and Islamic culture. The presentation will cover topics such as faith, culture, food, and traditions.
This program is intended for non-Muslims seeking to understand Islam and Islamic culture. Registration is not required.
About Dr. Hamed Alalamat:
Dr. Hamed Alalamat graduated from the Comparative Literature and Cultural Studies PhD program at the University of Arkansas in 2021. He holds a master's degree in Linguistics from California State University and has another MA and BA in English Language and Literature from Jordan. He is a professor of English at NWACC since August 2019.
