This group workshop is aimed at parents who would like to understand infant sleep, optimise sleep and rest for the whole family, whilst fully supporting their baby's developmental needs. This is not traditional low nurture sleep training...All 'sleep training' involves a low nurture approach and withdrawing from your child. An approach that is now understood to undermine a baby's long term emotional development. The foundations of our future emotional wellbeing are laid 0-3 years.
Through the latest infant neuroscience studies and research, you will understand the gap between a baby's normal biological sleep patterns and capabilities and society's unrealistic expectations.
The 90 minute session will help you to understand the optimum environment that your baby needs to maximise their sleep and in turn yours. It will help you to understand how a baby's sleep differs to ours and how intense developmental phases can impact. You will gain realistic expectations, effective approaches, and how and when best to apply them to aid lifelong healthy sleep habits. Includes Q&A.
Attendees will receive comprehensive digital resources to refer back to.
