Join us for an engaging and informative hour exploring IEPs from both educator and caregiver perspectives. This is a great opportunity to build understanding, ask questions, and take valuable knowledge back to your school community.
Educators (4-5pm): This workshop will provide you with a practical overview of IEPs and 504 Plans, clarifying roles, rights, and responsibilities throughout the process. Gain strategies for writing clear, data-driven goals and using progress reports to connect instruction to measurable outcomes—helping every student move forward with clarity and purpose.
Parents and Caregivers (5-6pm): Build confidence as advocates by clarifying the purpose, rights, and responsibilities within IEPs and 504 Plans. Learn how to interpret and evaluate goal writing and progress reports, feeling empowered to collaborate effectively with educators and ensure that goals are measurable, meaningful, and aligned with your child’s strengths and needs.
