Dr. Levy received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Concordia University in 2016. She completed her predoctoral internship at the University of Mississippi Medical Center/VA Medical Center Consortium and a two-year postdoctoral fellowship at the Anxiety Disorders Center, where she continues to serve as a licensed psychologist. Dr. Levy is a key member of the Center's research team, with a focus on identifying biological, behavioral, and cognitive mechanisms underlying anxiety-related disorders to inform the development of innovative treatments. Her work has been funded by Hartford Hospital, the American Psychological Foundation, and the National Institute of Mental Health. Clinically, Dr. Levy specializes in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) for anxiety disorders, with particular expertise in exposure-based treatments for obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD). She has also developed a specialization in CBT for hoarding disorder.
