We have all heard that change is “hard,” yet the world around us is constantly changing. People in businesses of all industries need to be able to grasp what change is and why it is essential to their organizations. The ability to see why others may not well receive change is crucial to being successful in your change approaches. Communication is key, and being able to measure and explain your changes can be almost as important as getting people to actually change.
This hands-on course teaches you how to build your change management plan not only on the tasks for completing your change but also on how you will engage with the people you work with. Change can bring all kinds of emotions, so a plan to work WITH stakeholders to help them deliver valuable change efforts is one of your keys to success.
The instructor will walk you through defining change and how to consider change from others’ perspectives while giving you techniques and approaches to use so that you are successful throughout your change endeavors using real-world examples and practicing on your own current challenges.
Course Outline:
-Define change and why it can feel challenging
-Practice innovative approaches techniques that help you work well with stakeholders including but not limited to elicitation, problem resolution and dealing with conflict
-Learn how to structure a measurable and actionable plan for working WITH stakeholders
-Recognize ways to help enable teams to change
-Measure, deliver and report on positive change efforts well beyond the basic lesson learned session

-Business professionals working with teams
-Anyone looking to practice and improve their collaborations skills for doing change work
