The course will look in detail at the nature of working memory, how difficulties in working memory can be identified, how it feels to experience difficulties in working memory, how Quality First Teaching relates to working memory in pupils, and how to develop practice to support working memory as well as individual adjustments for pupils with identified difficulties in this area.

We will look at learning needs which relate to working memory, such as dyslexia and ADHD. You will leave with a toolbox of key principles and specific strategies for supporting all pupils, with working memory in mind.
