Join CEA and industry experts for the fourth in the webinar series Improve Your Home Energy Efficiency: The Retrofit Journey. Are you interested in learning more about retrofitting your home to make it more comfortable, healthier, and energy efficient? Join Community Energy Association and retrofit industry experts for a webinar series geared towards community members wanting to learn more about home energy retrofits.
Understanding and managing your home's electrical load
-Part 1: Simple ways to reduce electricity use and manage upgrades
Energy retrofits often call for electrical service upsizing for heat pumps, electric hot water heating, and electric appliances. The session will review electrical service sizing concepts and load management strategies to avoid electric service upgrades. Case studies will demonstrate service upgrades are not always necessary and help equip homeowners for related conversations with builders and other service providers.
-Part 2: FortisBC and BC Hydro's plan for grid management
Hear from BC’s largest utility companies about their plans to ensure residents can install heat pumps and EV equipment with confidence.
Event is free of charge. If you can't attend the webinar - no problem! We'll provide the slide deck and a link to the recording to all those who have registered.
