Come visit Sand Ridge Nature Center to learn more about the Underground Railroad that existed the Calumet Region during the mid-1800s. Throughout the day there will be two self-guided walks, and an informational table inside. From 2pm-3pm Tom Shepherd and/or Dr. Larry McLellan from the Little Calumet River Underground Railroad Project will give a presentation accompanied by spiritual singer Lana Lewis
