Undergraduate Dance Open Day

Our Open Days allow you to gain insight into all aspects of student life at our vibrant Faculty of Dance.

• Explore the world's largest purpose-built contemporary dance centre The Laban Building
• Take part in a dance technique class
• Tour our Dance Science lab
• Meet staff and students across our Foundation, Contemporary Dance and Dance Science programmes
• Join us in the Laban Theatre to watch our 2nd Year Students perform
• Get top tips for your Dance audition
• Ask us any questions in a relaxed and informal setting

If you are interested in more than one of our programmes, please indicate this when you order your tickets. We will then schedule you in for both Contemporary Dance and Dance Science activities.

Please arrive dressed in comfortable clothes ready to take part in the Dance Technique class.

Due to the capacity of our Lecture Theatre we must limit guest tickets to 1 per person.

10 :00– 10:15 – Registration

10:15 – 11:15 – Welcome talk in Lecture Theatre

11:15 – 12:00 – Admissions talk for Parents/Guardians

11:15 – 12:45 – Contemporary Dance Technique Taster Sessions

11:15 – 12:45 - BSc Dance Science Lab session

12:45 – 13:00 – Break

13:00 – 13:45 – Dance Science talk in Lab (for those who are interested in both Contemporary Dance and Dance Science programmes)

13:00 – 14:00 – Lunch - Building/Accommodation tours
