Call your kitchen bestie, significant other, or a family member and join food writer and chef-instructor Shawnie Kelley for an evening filled with delicious food that will transport you to the rolling hills of Tuscany. You’ll be immersed in northern Italian cuisine as you make herbed goat cheese crostinis to nibble on while preparing your dinner, which begins with a summery melon, tomato, and burrata salad. The main entrée is a rustic, yet elegant rollatini of chicken filled with prosciutto and cheese that is rolled, baked, and sliced into pretty pinwheels. The chicken pairs well with a side of garlic and spinach orzo. For dessert, a classic affogato of espresso poured over gelato will hit the sweet spot. At the end of class, enjoy your meal with a glass of wine.
