Learn real-world car care skills with local pros! 🚗🔧
Join the City of Eugene Regulatory Services, BRING, and Lane County Fleet Services for a free, hands-on workshop designed for young adults ages 17–22.
Participants will learn how to change their own oil, prevent spills, and understand how everyday car maintenance connects to protecting clean water. Guided by local professional mechanics, you’ll get one-on-one support as you work under the hood—no experience required!
What to expect:
✅ Step-by-step oil change demo and hands-on practice on your own vehicle! (If you do not have a vehicle, another demo vehicle will be provided to work on.)
✅ Stormwater protection and spill prevention tips
✅ Free lunch provided
✅ Certificate of completion and giveaways
Space is limited to 10 participants.
Registration is free, but required in advance—and participants must register their vehicle ahead of time so we can prepare the right supplies.
