is a Queer Latinx- owned community space, committed to honoring and uplifting LGBTQIA+ & BIPOC voices and experiences.

is a Queer Filipinx educator, artist, hatha yoga instructor, and floral designer from Brooklyn, New York. As an educator and storyteller, Bayani believes in the importance of culturally relevant pedagogy and that everyone feels their identity is valued. She believes there is a strength in knowing our histories, crafting our stories, and building up our communities.
Since moving to O’ahu, Hawai’i and observing how identity is tied so closely to the land and our relationship to it, Bayani has cultivated skills on how to steward the land through her volunteer work with different organizations’ mālama ‘āina efforts to restore native species and plant medicine on island. She also tries to build community through teaching sustainable floral design workshops and yoga classes centering queer and BIPOC experiences, and kuleana toward the people and nature of the occupied Kingdom of Hawai’i.

Undas is a celebration amongst Filipinos as a time to honor loved ones who have passed away. This is celebrated between October 31 to November 2. During this time Filipinos prepare atangs (offerings) for the gravesites or altar space, such as previously enjoyed food, flowers, and drinks. We encourage you to bring your offerings to this workshop!
