Join us for a unique event where Pete Best, former member of the Beatles, will share his perspective on the events that led to his departure from the band. With his custom slide-show, Mr. Best will divulge his side of the story and answer questions from the audience. Don't miss this opportunity to hear from a rock legend and gain insight into one of the greatest unanswered questions in rock 'n roll history! THE CYRKLE, was the only American band with the same manager as The Beatles, Brian Epstein. American band The Cyrkle, opened for The Beatles 1965 US tour in fourteen concert locations, including San Francisco’s Candlestick Park and the famous New York Shea Stadium concert. Two of the original Cyrkle musicians, Don Dannemann and Michael Loosekamp will be perfoming at Valley Dale Ballroom beginning at 6:00PM and relaying their own stories of that past era of music. Quote from current CYRKLE bandmember, Pat McLoughlin “ … its extremely exciting for our band to open for Pete Best almost 60 years since The original CYRKLE opened for THE BEATLES in 1965,we are now opening for Pete Best Band in 2024. Also, I should mention, John Lennon named our band and chose its spelling.”
7:15PM, brings Mr. Best and his brother Rogue also a drummer to the stage with THE PETE BEST BAND playing tune selections which were written by Paul Mc Cartney & John Lennon. Many songs performed by The Beatles throughout the 1960s had already been composed and completed while Pete Best was a member of The Beatles before his 1962 dismissal, which was two years before The Ed Sullivan Show. Best, will be performing many recognizable Beatle hits. Including Love Me Do, The 909, Do You Want To Know A Secret, I Saw Her Standing There etc., all with full knowledge of Ringo Starr and Paul McCartney.
Pete Best is looking forward to appearing in Ohio at The Valley Dale Ballroom, as he is playing in two other American States earlier in the week Delaware and Maryland before returning home to England after his, Valley Dale Performance.
