Pinelands along with the State of New Jersey Department of the Treasury Unclaimed Property Administration brings you, Unclaimed Property: this is a search of any financial asset that has been unclaimed by its rightful owner for a specific time period. The State of New Jersey, Unclaimed Property Administration (UPA)’s mission is to reunite owners with their unclaimed financial assets free of charge. Examples of unclaimed financial assets include Stocks/Bonds, Savings and Checking Accounts, Insurance Checks, Utility Deposits, Payroll Checks, Wages.
We will give a brief presentation and afterwards our staff will be available to search individual names on the Unclaimed Property database. If any property is found, they would complete a search request form so that we can open a claim for them.
