Featuring a 10-piece band made up of some of Melbourne’s finest musicians attuned to Joe Cocker’s music.
Mike O’Loughlin has been singing the music of Joe Cocker for over 20 years. His voice has incredible depth and emotion paying great respect to Joe’s amazing catalogue of songs. Mike was actually invited to audition for Joe’s Original outfit; “The Grease Band” on a trip to the UK to visit his hometown of Surrey.
(There’s a lot of the Englishman still in Mike) Backing vocals accompanying Mike include: Lindel Bell and Natasha Childs both solo artists in their own right. The 10-piece band comprising of the twin, guitars, of Dean James and David Bathgate, Gary Winchester on bass and Steve Ambrose on drums, Michelle Johns a much sought-after Hammond Organ player, who also plays in the Van Morrison Show -:” Winter’s Night” and on Saxophone we have Dean Hilson from (Melbourne Ska Orchestra/ Swinging Sidewalks/Bustamento) an in-demand session player. And all led by our very much sought after, both here and the UK. Musical Director: Simon Walters on Keyboards and vocals.

There is a Film Documentary on Joe’s life and music, currently in the works.
“Learning To Live Together” – (The Return of Mad Dogs & Englishmen Rock Doco and Concert) had its International Premiere at The Rain Dance Festival UK, Oct 31/2021. It then continued worldwide. Many Attempts were made to reform the band with Joe, unfortunately to no avail.
