Join us on Saturday, September 13th from 9 AM - 4:30 PM for a driving tour of the Historic Lincoln Highway! Starting in Laramie, we'll travel back in time visiting historic sites along the bypassed route through Bosler, Rock River, Medicine Bow, Hanna, Fort Steele, and rounding out the day at the Historic Parco Theatre in Sinclair.
We will meet at the Laramie Depot Museum at 9 AM and depart for Medicine Bow from there. Along the way we will have the opportunity to stop at historic sights in Bosler, Rock River, and we will visit the Fossil Cabin. In Medicine Bow we will visit the famous Virginian, the Medicine Bow Museum, and the Medicine Bow Airport. After lunch at the C Spear Bar and Grill, we'll head to Elmo and Hanna where we will visit with the Hanna Museum. Then we'll make our way to Fort Steele State Historic Site. Finally we'll travel on the interstate to Sinclair where we will tour the historic theatre and have some refreshments before heading home.
Registration is required, and lunch and refreshments are included! Please wear closed toed shoes and carpooling is encouraged. Discounted tickets are available for Alliance for Historic Wyoming Members and Lincoln Highway Association Members.
