We are absolutely delighted to announce that the 106th Un-Convention will take place at the 02 Ritz in Manchester on the 8th and 9th July 2021.Physical tickets for the event have now sold out. The conference will bring together artists, professionals and organisations from the independent music sector to reflect on how the industry and music scenes have adapted, the lessons we have learnt over the last year, and how we can work together to ensure a brighter future.
We see this as an opportunity to reconvene those working at the coalface of independent music; the self-releasing artists and cutting-edge labels, risk-taking promoters, venues and festivals still looking to push new talent against all odds, and the managers, producers, writers and innovators whose dedication, vision and belief make this such an exciting place to be.
We are incredibly proud of the resilience and camaraderie demonstrated by those working in the sector during the most testing of times. If you make or champion independent music then we hope you can join us to reconnect, forge new relationships, share experiences and ideas, and plan for a better future.
We have an exciting range of brilliant speakers and panellists to announce in the coming weeks, along with full details of the two-day programme. Safety will be paramount, and the event will be run in accordance with COVID-19 regulations.
Previous years’ events have sold out in advance, with delegates joining us from over 40 towns and cities across the UK. We are anticipating that capacity this year will be restricted - for now there are a very limited number of conference tickets available.
All tickets are fully refundable should restrictions prevent attendance, and we will also be announcing details of concessionary and complimentary tickets for those who have been adversely affected by the pandemic.
