About the Program
The Umoja Young Men's Transformational Leadership Program is designed to inspire, educate, and empower young men in Milwaukee, particularly from the African American community. Our program caters to young men aged 14-30, including those who are not yet fathers and those who are young fathers. We provide a specialized curriculum to address the unique needs and responsibilities of young men in both groups, fostering personal growth, professional development, and community engagement.
Fatherhood Training Program
For young men who are fathers, we offer a Fatherhood Training Program that provides essential tools and knowledge to thrive in their roles. This specialized curriculum covers aspects such as co-parenting, child development, and effective communication, ensuring that young fathers are well-equipped to balance their responsibilities with personal and professional growth.

How to Apply
Registration for the second summer intake is in progress and open to young men aged 14-30 years old, who are residents of Milwaukee. There is no cost to participate, and participants will receive a $100 stipend upon successful completion of the program. Transportation support is available where required, and refreshments will be provided.
