Join local clean water advocates for a cleanup from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Esopus Wetlands on Abeel Street in Eddyville, Kingston for the 13th Annual Riverkeeper Sweep. This is a rain or shine event.
Volunteers will meet at Esopus Wetlands on Abeel Street in Eddyville, New York, with specific meeting location TBD.
We recommend that all Sweep volunteers bring a hat, sunscreen, a full reusable water bottle, insect repellent, work gloves and hand sanitizer. There may be water gear needed to extract the tires.
This site is not suitable for elementary-aged children.

*IMPORTANT! To ensure the safety of volunteers, Sweep Site Leaders, professional staff, and our communities, we ask that volunteers adhere to the following guidelines:
- Volunteers are required to pre-register for Sweep.
- Volunteers should not participate if they have ANY signs of illness or if they have potentially been exposed to COVID-19.
Over the last 12 years, Sweep leaders have completed 1,199 service projects, bringing together thousands of volunteers from NYC to the Adirondacks to clean up 355 tons of debris, and plant or maintain 7,130 native plants.
