CHB Lafayette and UL Lafayette’s Creative Writing department’s Deep South Writers Series are hosting Saddiq Dzukogi at 7 p.m. on Nov. 20 in the bookshop for a reading, Q&A, and signing!Saddiq is a Nigerian poet and assistant professor at Mississippi State University. His poetry collection *Your Crib, My Qibla* and select poems have won several awards and recognitions. Saddiq will be featuring his newest collection, *Bakandamiya,* at the event!
Saddiq will read from and discuss his work at the bookstore before engaging in the Q&A and signing.
