The UllrGrass Troubadour Contest 2026 will be held on Wednesday Jan14, 2026 from 6-9 pm at the Golden Hotel - Golden, CO . Submissions are due by Dec31 and Finalists will be announced by Jan6, 2026.
This event is FREE and open to the public, so come on down and enjoy an evening of LIVE MUSIC.
This contest is open to all songwriters and all styles of music. Contestants may perform solo or with an (1) accompanist. The judging will be based on "song quality", "vocal performance" and "overall performance".
The winner of the UllrGrass Troubadour Contest will receive a weekend pass to the UllrGrass Music & Beer Festival 2026 and will be offered a performance slot at UllrGrass 2027.
To enter, simply paste an audio or video link with lyrics (if you're so inclined) and your website in the DISCUSSION area on this FB event for consideration. Finalists (9 troubadours) will be selected to perform a 3-song set at the GOlden Hotel on Wednesday January 14, 2026 in front of a live audience and a panel of judges. The winner will be announced and celebrated immediately following the contest.
Finalists should arrive by 5:30 pm on Jan14 for orientation. Performance order will be posted at that time.
