Want to learn how to play the ukulele, but don’t know where to start? Does playing with a group sound like fun? Join local musician Allen Hopkins for this two-session series on the basics of ukulele jamming! You’ll learn the basics of playing the ukulele, fun songs to strum along with, and you’ll have a chance to experience the joy of “jamming” with a group. Allen will also bring a few ukes from his collection of weird and wonderful instruments.
Please bring your own ukulele. Don’t own a uke? Some Monroe County Libraries have ukuleles that you can borrow. Call us at 428- 8204 for more information.
