Ukraine’s Independence Day is approaching — a day that reminds us of the long and ongoing fight for freedom. Today, while war still rages, our defenders continue to sacrifice everything — their health, their freedom, their lives. Many Ukrainian soldiers have lost arms, legs, and are in critical condition. They need urgent and expensive medical treatment and rehabilitation. We cannot stay indifferent.
On August 24th, the Ukrainian community together with the team from Taste of Ukraine will be serving food at Zwicks Park, Belleville, and 100% of the proceeds will go toward helping wounded Ukrainian soldiers.
We invite you to be part of this life-saving mission.
Come and enjoy:
 Pierogi (Ukrainian dumplings)
 Cabbage rolls (holubtsi)
 Potato zrazy (stuffed potato patties)
 Beef dumplings (Ukrainian pelmeni)
 Chebureky (crispy fried meat pastries)
 Homemade cakes, macarons, éclairs
 Fresh coffee, slushies, non-alcoholic mojito
 Cotton candy for kids
There will also be a DJ playing Ukrainian music throughout the day, karaoke where everyone can sing their favorite songs (Ukrainian and international), and live music performances.
Every dollar you spend brings hope and healing to those who gave everything.
Thank you for standing with us on this meaningful day.
