Welcome to the Ukrainian polyphonic singing workshop in Hereford! Join us at the Hereford Diocese ( Bishops Palace) for a unique experience of traditional Ukrainian vocal harmonies. Learn the art of singing in multiple parts with expert instructor Galyna Grigoriadi guiding you every step of the way. Upon arrival you will be offered a cup of ukrainian traditional herbal tea and a piece of cake. Galyna and her helpers will sing for you few ukrainian songs to introduce you to traditional singing. We will aim to learn 3-4 ukrainian traditional songs throughout the day with 1 hour break in between for lunch. We will serve you delicious ukrainian lunch (suitable for vegetarians).
At the end of the day at 2.30 we will perform our songs that we learned together for your friends and family. Galyna will sing some more ukrainian songs acoompanied by traditional ukrainian instrument Bandura. Prepare yourself for a deep emersive experience into Ukrainian culture
