About this Event
On behalf of the Ukrainian National Women’s League of America (UNWLA) and the Young Performers Foundation, we are honored to invite you to our second annual charity event, Ukrainian Music Competition Finalists Gala. This special evening will take place on January 10th, 2025 at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall, 154 W 57th St, New York, NY 10019.
The Ukrainian Music Competition celebrates the rich heritage of Ukrainian music, inspiring young performers to master compositions by Ukrainian composers while promoting awareness of Ukrainian culture.
Last year’s Gala captivated audiences, including diplomats such as Sergiy Kyslytsya, Ukraine’s permanent representative to the UN. The evening featured extraordinary performances by competition winners and judges, leaving a lasting impression of the talent and artistry on display.
Building on last year’s success, this year’s auditions welcomed young musicians from the US, Canada, and Poland, including several Ukrainian refugees. Of the 23 winners selected across five age groups, six are Ukrainian refugees, sponsored by the Young Performers Foundation and UNWLA. At the Gala, these talented performers will be joined by invited university and government officials, creating a unique opportunity for cultural advocacy. Guests will enjoy live music, refreshments, and hors d'ouevres.
All proceeds will go towards the continued advocacy for Ukrainian culture.
Don't miss this unique opportunity to witness the finalists of the second annual Ukrainian Music Competition in the heart of New York City.
* You will need to pick up your tickets at the box office at Carnegie Hall on the day of the Gala. Please bring a valid state ID*
