Nastasia Y blends ancient Slavic folk with jazz and funk inspired by her Kyiv roots and her late father’s protest songs. A standout at the Toronto Jazz Festival and a 2025 Canadian Folk Music Awards nominee for her latest album ‘Kyiv Soul’, Nastasia channels ancestral voices to turn trauma into soulful resistance opening hearts to global struggles. Joining Nastasia is Andrew McAnsh an award-winning multi-instrumentalist and Berklee Global Jazz Institute graduate.
