We will host a special ceremony on Friday 22 August at 11am in the Great Hall at the Guildhall, Northampton, to commemorate 34 years since Ukraine’s independence.The event will feature speeches (with Ukrainian translation), performances from the Ukrainian community, and an exhibition of artwork by St Mary’s Ukrainian School students on the theme “Drawing what makes me free”. Artwork winners will be announced on the day.
Sunflowers will be laid in remembrance, and refreshments will be served after the ceremony. All are welcome to join us in celebrating this important occasion.
