Description:
During this workshop you will learn how to turn your eggs into magical Pysankas: a traditional Ukrainian Easter egg decorated with hot wax with numerous dye bathes. The technique is wax resistant, also called batik technique and used for dyeing silk fabric. This workshop is your meditation, mindfulness journey to yourself and to ancient technique which goes back to pre-Christian times.
We work with dangerous, challenging and fragile mediums: open flame, hot wax, raw eggs and dyes.
This workshop is open to 12 + and lasts three hours.
