Ukrainian Easter Egg Workshop
Join us for a relaxing and meditative Ukrainian Easter Egg Workshop at Maker House Co. in Ottawa! Learn the traditional art of Pysanky, the Ukrainian method of decorating eggs using wax and dyes. Let your soul sink into the process of inscribing beautiful designs on real eggs. Your experienced instructor will guide you through the process, teaching you the techniques and symbolism behind this ancient art form. Whether you're a beginner or have some experience, this workshop is an opportunity to spend some quality flow time ushering in spring in a beautiful way!
All materials will be provided (eggs, aniline dyes, beeswax, etc.)
Pysanka kits and individuals tools will also be available for purchase (proceeds go to non profit arts organisation Folk Camp Canada).
Beginner level.
