Songs for Ukraine Chorus, with the support of the Embassy of Ukraine in the United Kingdom, is proud to announce its upcoming concert, Ukraine Stands: Songs of Courage and Resilience, which will take place on Tuesday, 25 February 2025, at 7 p.m. at the iconic Southwark Cathedral in London.This special event will mark the third anniversary of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine and feature works by classical and contemporary Ukrainian composers.
We seek to remind the British audience of the importance of standing with Ukraine. Together, we celebrate Ukraine’s rich and diverse cultural heritage while raising awareness of the courage and resilience of its people.
Songs for Ukraine Chorus continues its mission of celebrating the indomitable spirit of Ukraine and fostering cultural connections.
Originally founded by the Royal Ballet and Opera two years ago, the Chorus comprises over 100 Ukrainians, ranging from professional singers to newcomers, many of them displaced by war.
Part of the proceeds from ticket sales go to a chosen Ukrainian charity.

Проєкт Songs for Ukraine «Пісні для України» за підтримки Посольства України у Великій Британії запрошує вас на концерт до третьої річниці повномасштабного вторгнення Pосії в Україну «Ukraine Stands: Songs of Courage and Resilience», який відбудеться у вівторок, 25 лютого 2025 року, о 19:00 в історичному соборі Southwark в центрі Лондона.
На цьому особливому для всіх нас заході прозвучать класичні та сучасні твори українських композиторів.
Ми співатимемо, щоб нагадати британській аудиторії, як важлива для України її незмінна підтримка. Разом ми поринемо в глибокий світ музичної спадщини України та водночас згадаємо та відзначимо мужність та стійкість її народу.
Хор Songs for Ukraine продовжує виконувати свою культурну місію та оспівувати незламний дух України.
Хор було засновано Королівською Oперою два роки тому. В його складі - понад 100 українців, багато з яких вимушено залишили Украіну через війну.
Частину коштів від продажу квитків піде в обрану українську благодійну організацію.
