Interweaving rare archival materials, testimonies, music, sound recordings and experimental excerpts, the film acknowledges the power of songs and the search for social transformations by diverse movements. Based on in-depth research and testimonies by musicians from Chile, Portugal, France, Germany, Finland and Japan, it delves into the different uses and meanings this anthem has achieved worldwide.
