Join us for a global adventure involving big cats, a father-son team and conservation stories spanning 4 years. Watch the Programmer Prize-winning Panteras - Living with Wild Cats chosen for Wildscreen's Official Selection 2022.
Join us from 6.30pm to enjoy refreshments at the Bristol Aquarium before entering the expansive Big Screen. Director Andoni Canela, son Unai Canela and Producer José María Morales will be joining us for the screening.
About the Films
PANTERAS, Living with Wild Cats (Dir. Andoni Canela) Andoni Canela, a renowned nature photographer, travels with his son Unai on a fascinating 4 year adventure. They travel in search of the last wild cats on the planet: jaguars, tigers, pumas, cheetahs, leopards, lions .... The journey takes several years and culminates in the high mountains of Tibet and the Himalayas, where father and son try to find the legendary snow leopard. The difficulty of the challenge, the beautiful expression of Nature and the sensitivity of Andoni and Unai turn the film into an exciting conservationist plea and an authentic journey of inner discovery.

This film was selected as part of Wildscreen's Official Selection 2022 and was also granted the Programmer Prize.

Getting There
The screening is taking place in the Big Cinema within Bristol Aquarium. The Aquarium is easy to find, located in the heart of Bristol city centre on the historic Harbourside with entrances on Anchor Road and Canons Road. For more information on local bus stops visit their website.
Access
Accessible access via lift is available, with additional space at the back of the cinema for wheelchair users. The venue are unable to cater for visual or audible disabilities.
