The University of Johannesburg (UJ) Sport Division has teamed up with Discovery Vitality for the newly rebranded UJ Future Forward Fun Run scheduled for Saturday, 20 September 2025. This partnership brings a fresh burst of energy, wellness points for Vitality members, and a vibrant mix of Discovery's pink and UJ's orange to the streets of Auckland Park for a morning of healthy fun.Formerly known as the UJ Future Walk, this year’s event promises to be bigger and better. It's a fun, family-friendly event that brings together UJ staff, students, Joburg residents, and seasoned runners for a single, powerful cause: raising funds for academically deserving but financially needy UJ students.
The seventh annual event is proudly sponsored by Discovery Vitality and supported by Lucky Star, Spar, and Mentos. In addition to the run, participants will enjoy music, a morning breeze, and jumping castles for the younger crowd.
