Uisce Álainn is a participatory distance paddle event led by Medb’s Dragon Warriors and supported by the ATU Power To Change Project (Atlantic Technical University) held on the Garavogue River and Lough
Gill, Sligo. It is open to Dragon Boats, Kayakers, and Rowers, promoting three key themes; Blue Mental Health & Wellbeing; River Eco & Environment; Code of Conduct on the Water. Opening ceremonies to include Wakening The Dragon & Memorial Flower Ceremonies. Public are welcome to participate in opening ceremonies and avail of free guided river walks and information stands on the event hosted at The Gate Lodge Cafe.
