Te Taura Whiri i te Reo Māori is excited to host Uhi Tai again this November, an engaging symposium dedicated to the normalisation of te reo Māori across both the public and private sectors, and throughout Aotearoa. Building on the success of last year, Uhi Tai 2024 continues with the theme “Catch the Wave!”

Join us for two-days where you’ll gain insights from business leaders, language champions, reo Māori revitalisation experts, and everyday kaimahi. Hear firsthand how they have supported and advanced the use of te reo Māori in their work and organisations. Discover how to become a proactive advocate and leader for te reo Māori in your workplace and be inspired and energised by te reo Māori and its potential impact.
Featured speakers include; Dr. Jeremy Tātere Macleod (te reo Māori exponent), Jennifer Ward-Lealand (film and theatre professional) and Stacey and Scotty Morrison (longtime language advocates and media personalities).
