Uganda Internet Governance Forum 2024

The Uganda Internet Governance Forum (UIGF) is a platform for different industry players to deliberate on internet governance concerns and how these can be improved for the betterment of internet development in Uganda. The forum thus enables participants learn, build consensus about the IG issues relevant to Uganda and discuss the digital future of Uganda, while acting in accordance with the main principles of the global Internet Governance Forum (IGF).

This year, the forum will be held under the theme "Building a MultiStakeholder Digital Future for Uganda."

Sub-themes are -

• Harnessing innovation and balancing risks in the digital space;
• Enhancing the digital contribution to peace, development, and sustainability;
• Advancing human rights and inclusion in the digital age;
• Improving digital governance for the Internet We Want;
• Harnessing the power of AI for social development.
