The Seattle Seahawks superstar 2024 NFL Walter Payton Man of the Year nominee Uchenna Nwosu is back for his foundation 2nd Annual "Lend a Hand" Charity Golf Tournament Thursday June 26, 2025, with a goal of raising money to empower and educate the Carson youth.
There was plenty of sponsors and starpower at the 2024 Inaugural Charity Golf Tournament benefitting the Uchenna Nwosu Foundation, including Raiders Hall of Fame Defensive End Greg Townsend, Seattle Seahawks Dave DeseRoches, Raiders, Rams, Olympian Ron Brown, Negro League Hall of Fame Caoch Kermit Taylor and Chargers 3x Pro Bowler icon Kassim Osgood.
The UIchenna Nwosu foundation has a goal of adding to the more than $50,000 already raised to support Carson youth by providing support and opportunities to more than 5,000 students who are behind in reading.
A trailblazer in the community Uchenna's generous gift fund established the "My Brothers Keeper" peer advocate program at the Carson Library, in 2023 donated $80,000 to his alma mater Narbonne High School and has an annual commitment to the Carson Library.
Proceeds from this event will go towards promoting Eduaction, Health and Wellness to the youth and community of Carson, CA.
