About this Event
The fall inspires so much – the turning of leaves, the harvesting of pumpkins, etc.
Musically, there is a change in atmosphere – from celebrating the season with the energetic “Fall Fair” by Canadian composer Godfrey Ridout, to English composer Philip Sparke’s “Music for a Festival”; from Canadian composer David Rowsell’s “Siempre Allegre (Always Happy) to the melancholy “Benedictus” by Welsh composer Sir Karl Jenkins.
There will also be a special highlight on Canadian Jazz great Oscar Peterson, to celebrate the 100th anniversary of his birth.
