UAA STEM Day, presented by Alaska 529, is a free, interactive event designed to engage participants of all ages in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. This event offers hands-on experiences designed to inspire curiosity, particularly among students in kindergarten through 12th grade, as well as families and community members with an interest in STEM.Attendees can explore more than 20 interactive booths covering topics such as robotics, human anatomy, DNA, earthquakes, wind power, and Alaska wildlife. UAA faculty and students will lead engaging demonstrations and offer lab tours throughout the day. Free shows will be available at the UAA Planetarium and Visualization Theater. Participants may also complete an activity passport for a chance to win prizes.
Admission is free. No registration is required. Visitors are encouraged to bring their curiosity and enthusiasm for learning!
