Get Creative at the Printing Museum!
In this half-day Letterpress Woodtype Type Slam, participants will learn a bit of letterpress history, how to compose a message in wood type and lock it into a forme, and how to ink and print on a press to create your own poster. The four hours will be packed with lots of fun as Lorna & Janet share their love and knowledge of letterpress. At the end of the workshop, there will be a print exchange to share the fabulous creations. Everyone will take home a portfolio of prints. This workshop is hands-on and very active. All materials welcome; no experience necessary.
