Meeting point - Play Area at Tyne Green Country Park Time - 10am meet
Approx 1 hour to go on a short walk
Suggested walk - cross the little bridge at the back of the play area and turn left to join the path where you will have the golf course on your left and the river on your right. Continue on this path to the end of the golf course and follow the path around to the left where you will now have the golf course on your left and the railway line on your right (to make it longer, keep walking with the railway on your left and river on your right). Continue on this path until you come to a small bridge and then the golf club. Continue past the Golf club (mind any moving cars) and rejoin the grass returning back to the play area.
Suitable for all types of prams or carriers. Trainers are fine. Nice new tarmac path/short grass.
Approx walk length - 30-40 minutes. Can be made longer by walking to Warden and back.
Toilets are available opposite the play area and in the cafe.
Parking is free - either park near the park or at the golf club and walk along to the park.
Dogs - welcome on the walk if very well behaved and on a lead in the meeting area
