Looking to learn and experiment more with music gear and tone, at a fabulous local music shop nonetheless?I'm hosting my first music gear and tone consulting clinic at Roots Music Shop on Saturday, November 8th, from 7 - 9 PM. This clinic is free, all-ages, and open to the public - no registration or reservation required.
We'll live-tinker with the rigs of two fabulous local musicians:
-DJ Oestmann: Bassist in FAHR and Beyond Bananas
-Anthony Weller: Guitarist in Head Change
Our sonic exploration with DJ and Anthony will serve as a jumping-off point for discussion about how the gear we use in making music can best serve our playing, voice, and identity (via killer tone). Plus, we'll have an entire music shop of gear available to us to play with!
Some fun extras for attendees:
-All guests who sign in at the event will receive 25% off any one-off consult or consulting package with me. This discount can be gifted to any musician that you know!
-I'm raffling off my Wampler Triumph Overdrive pedal, which is one of my absolute favorite effects pedals. Raffle tickets cost $5 each, and we'll do the raffle drawing at the end of the clinic. Here's a great demo/overview of the Triumph, to get you pumped:
-All proceeds of our Wampler Triumph Overdrive raffle will be used to purchase electric basses, guitars, and/or amps for Lincoln Public Schools and Lincoln 21st Century Learning Center students. Let's support the next generation of musicians!
