Tyler Kemmerling is the founder and lead vocalist of the Asheville-based rock band Caged Affair. A self-taught multi-instrumentalist and New Jersey transplant, Tyler began playing guitar almost 15 years ago after falling in love with Green Dayās American Idiot. After writing, producing and recording two albums as a teen in his bedroom, Tyler went on to earn an audio engineering degree and then honed his craft by working in studios in Chicago and Nashville while continuing to write his own songs. As a performer, Tyler's engages his audiences with a sincere creative energy that drives them to bop, sway and sing along song after song.
