The Tyler Cooney Quartet will be previewing their upcoming release Jelly Legs - set for release later this year - in full at JMI Live on Thursday, August 21st. Tyler is joined by Wil Sargisson on keys, Elliott Parker on bass, and Dom Machen on drums. The tunes on the album gradually took shape during a regular residency the band has held over the past few years.In early 2025, they headed into the studio to capture a snapshot of that period and solidify the music into a recorded form. Jelly Legs draws inspiration from artists like John Scofield and The New Mastersounds, as well as the laid-back energy of warm, sunny summer days.
